Our New Counter Area

Rock Springs Pull Test Machine

In continuing with our commitment to customer service we are proud to announce that we now have a pull test machine for our Rock Springs branch. We have had pull testing available through our Casper branch, with our portable test unit since 1996, and have been able to service our customers with great success.

With our new pull test machine, we can test all types of wire rope, chain, and synthetic slings along with lifting eyes and smaller spreader bars to a capacity of 100 ton with lengths up to 30’ right here in Rock Springs! Our load cell indicator inputs the data into our computer and we can chart the information and print out a report that includes your company name and address, the serial number of the item, the safe working load limit, and the actual load applied to the item.

The advantages of having this service available locally are tremendous when you consider the lengthy turnaround times and freight expense of sending your rigging out of town to be load tested and certified. As always, we are proud to provide your company with wire rope, chain, and synthetic slings customized to your exact specifications and we can help out with the yearly inspections on slings that are required by OSHA to keep your company in compliance and your employees safe. And don’t forget that we still have our portable unit available of you need testing done at the job site.
