Hoisting Tool Inspection, Repair, and Re-certification
HSC operates full-service hoisting tool repair centers in Bakersfield, CA, Casper, WY, and Odessa, TX.
Our inspection services are provided as recommended in API Specification 8B.

Typical Service:
- Equipment is received from our customers (either picked up or delivered) and chain of custody documents are exchanged.
- A “follower” is created for each item. This follower remains with the item through the entire process. From dis-assembly, to cleaning and inspecting, magnaflux, load test, 2nd magnaflux, final assembly, paint, and delivery.
- Load test documents, all followers, parts lists, magnaflux certs, non-compliance reports (where applicable), and chain of custody documentsare provided to the owner of the equipment.
- Backup files for each item are also kept filed at our location.

Power Tong Repair
HSC’s power tong repair shops combine the industry’s best technicians with the most complete inventory of replacement parts. From rod to casing, closed face or open, our experienced shops are ready for the job your tong requires. We stock a complete line of domestic made parts for jobs requiring preventative maintenance or major repairs.
If time is not on your side, our loaner program will get you back to work.

Wire Rope Spooling and Inspection

HSC’s Odessa, TX location is a full Service Drilling & Well Service Traveling Block inspection and repair facility. HSC Odessa, TX Block Shop operates in accordance with API RP 8B, ISO 13534:2000, and customer requirements (written procedures). |
